Fire Chief, Bill Benoit
Chief Benoit has been a fire fighter for over 19 years, working for the City of Fraser Volunteer Fire Department before starting the Oakland Township Fire Department in 1995. He received his Basic EMT license in 1992 and completed Fire Officer I, II, and III program in 1995.
Assistant Chief, Paul Strelchuk
Assistant Chief Strelchuk started with the Rochester Hills Fire Department in 1981. He has been serving as Lieutenant and Training Officer with the Oakland Township Fire Department since 1995 as a charter member and was promoted to Assistant Chief in 2002.
District Chief, Station One, Larry Johnson
District Chief Johnson started his fire service in 1974 with the City of Rochester Volunteer Fire Department. He moved into the city of Rochester Hills in 1981 and serviced for 10 years as a fire fighter and was later promoted to lieutenant. He served as a fire fighter for 4 years with the Oxford Fire Department before moving to Oakland Township in 1995 where he has served as a charter member, was promoted to Sergeant in 1996, Captain in 2002, and District Chief in 2006.
District Chief, Station Two, Lou Danek
District Chief Danek started with the Rochester Hills Fire Department in 1984, and was promoted to rank of Captain in 1992. As a charter member of the Oakland Township Fire Department he began serving as a Captain and was promoted to District Chief in 2002.
Captain 1, Jon Diehr
Captain Diehr started with the Rochester Hills Fire Department in 1992 and joined the Oakland Township Fire Department in 1995 as a charter member. He was hired as the Departments first full time fire fighter in 2000, promoted to Lieutenant in 2002, and Captain in 2006.
Captain 2, Chuck Beach
Captain Beach started with the Oakland Township Fire Department in 1995 as a charter member. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2002 and to Captain in 2005.
Lieutenant 1, Lou Gomez
Lieutenant Gomez started with the Oakland Township Fire Department in 1998 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2007.
Lieutenant 2, Jim Tweedie
Lieutenant Tweedie started with the Oakland Township Fire Department as a charter member in 1995. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2005.
