Cranberry Lake Park was purchased in 1996, with 22 additional acres purchased using Land Preservation millage funds in August 2003. Its 213 acres are located between Predmore Road and Romeo Road (32 mile Road). It encompasses the western shoreline of Cranberry Lake. There is no lake access at this time.
The park boasts numerous hiking and biking trails. Park users can park in the new lot just west of the restored Flumerfelt barn. If you have any questions concerning the park, please contact the PRC office at 248-651-7810.
This is also the site of Cranberry Lake Farm Historic District, a historic farmstead of ten structures dating back to the 1840's that is being restored by the township for public use in the future. The Oakland Township Historical Society is currently leasing the buildings. As the structures are under renovation and unsafe at this time, please view them from the road only.
