The Mill Race Trail was donated to the township in 1974 by Lucille and David McMillen.  It runs for 3/10 of a mile between the Paint Creek and the mill race, going northward from the Gallagher Road Bridge. A state historic marker was erected at the trailhead in June 2002.

This trail serves as a popular connection for pedestrians between the Goodison and Paint Creek Cider Mills, eliminating the need to walk along Orion Road.
