Acquired using Land Preservation Millage funds in 2003, this 10-acre natural area includes portions of forested wetland and a wet meadow just west of the Paint Creek Trail. The original Paint Creek and floodplain also crosses this parcel. Prescribed burns have been conducted and ongoing stewardship includes invasive shrub removal and spot burning. For protection of the site’s natural features please view from the trail only. Parking is available at the junction of Silver Bell Road and the Paint Creek Trail.
