HOW IS THE AMOUNT OF MY TAX DETERMINED?

Tax amounts are calculated by multiplying the Taxable Value of a parcel by the millage rate of each collecting unit; County, School, State and Township. Lake Orion and Romeo school districts collect 100% of their school taxes in the summer. Rochester school district collects one-half in summer and one-half in winter. The remaining millage rates are divided between your summer and winter tax bills.

WHEN ARE TAXES SENT TO HOMEOWNERS?
