The Oakland Township Safety Paths & Trails Committee invites you to attend the Silverbell/Brewster ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, October 24th at 5:30 p.m.

The ceremony will take place at the new path on the south side of Silverbell Rd., east of Brewster Rd. Please park at Gallagher Creek Park on Silverbell Rd., just west of Adams and make the short walk to the site.
This recently completed path fills a strategic gap by connecting six miles of existing safety paths in one of the most densely-populated areas of Oakland Township. Funded entirely through Oakland Township’s Safety Paths and Trails Millage Fund, the project was constructed by Birmingham Sealcoat in conjunction with the new Cider Mill Connector in Goodison and was completed in mid-September. The Silverbell/Brewster safety path meets all of the requirements outlined in the Safety Paths and Trails Master Plan to provide safe routes to popular destinations for walkers, hikers, bicyclists and other users in the township.

The Oakland Township Safety Paths and Trails Committee particularly wishes to recognize Steve and Laura Benequisto for their generosity in providing this important easement!
