Orion Road Bridge Replacement and Paving
Orion Road will be closed during the bridge reconstruction project and the RCOC anticipates closure of Orion Road from June 23rd to approximately September 12th. The planned detour route will be Rochester Road to Stoney Creek Road to Orion Road, and vice-versa.

Also, in late July, RCOC will begin the resurfacing of two sections of Orion Road between the Village of Lake Orion and Rochester Road in Rochester Hills. The first section of the resurfacing will run from Flint Street in the Village of Lake Orion to Adams Road in Oakland Township. The second section runs from Snell Road in Oakland Township to Rochester Road in Rochester Hills. The sections of road under construction for the resurfacing project will remain open to two-way traffic at all times, though the road will be reduced to one lane at times, with traffic directed by flaggers.
